Super City icon from Play Store
Super City is a game made by independent game developer Mat Dickie for Android and IOS devices released in early 2016. Its roster has over 150 characters and its map is made up of 30+ large zones. Players are able to pick from the superhero, villain, and neutral rosters; most of which are parodies of Marvel and DC characters. Using the new tools, powers, and Wrestling Revolution combat, players are able to roam the city in an attempt to win over the separate zones of their side. the game is a successor (in terms of publishing) to Weekend Warriors (2015) and a predecessor to Wrecked (2017)

Random Characters[]
As the game progresses, new characters with completely random names, visuals, powers and attributes begin to appear. These characters can be generated when generating a new universe with the full version, but they also appear in the base game. They can be both heroes, villains, and neutral. As their attributes are randomly generated, they are completely randomized characters that are only there to fill in the space left by dead characters. These characters are sometimes generated with the appearance (usually the attire) of other characters. Therefore, their powers and costumes have nothing to do with their nicknames. (such as: Fireman, but it is female and has the Freeze power). Therefore, it is impossible for you to kill everyone and only your character are left, because random characters are generated infinitely in the free version, but if you have the paid version, they are not generated and it is possible to kill everyone and only your character is left.
Gameplay[]
Super City has the most over the top and maxed out Gameplay out of all of the games in the MDickie series. It adds some new moves to the Fighting system from Wrestling Revolution, Hard Time, and School Days. Attributes consist of Strength, Speed, and Defense. The attributes cap at 200% for Superhumans and 99% for civilians. The main goal of the player is either take over the world (Villains), revert the world to its previous state before the war of the heroes and villains (Neutrals), or protect the world (Heroes). All of these are achieved by taking ownership of all of the in-game locations. Doing so will trigger the respective endings of the three factions.
Endings[]
These endings are triggered when the player completes the game by taking ownership of all the in-game locations. The ending completely depends on the player's chosen Faction. Currently, there are 4 available endings.
Peace Ending (Good)[]
This ending is achieved if the chosen character of the player is on the Hero faction, and takes ownership of the entire city. Your chosen Hero character will then enter dialogue, saying: ("At last, order has been restored to every corner of the city so that people can live in peace!") The entire map's locations will also be colored green.
Domination Ending (Bad)[]
This ending is achieved if the chosen character of the player is on the Villain faction, and takes over the city. Your chosen Villain character will then enter dialogue, saying: ("A lot of villains talk about 'ruling the world', but how many actually achieved it like I have?!") The entire map's locations will also be colored red, after the Villain faction's colors.
Reverted Ending (Normal)[]
This ending is achieved if the chosen character of the player is on the Neutral faction, and takes ownership of the entire city. Your chosen neutral character will then enter dialogue, saying: ("Finally, sanity has been restored to a city that used to be intoxicated by your fairytales!") The entire map's locations will also be colored white.
Independence Ending (Good)[]
This ending is achieved if the chosen character of the player is not on the Neutral faction, and takes ownership of the entire city. Your chosen character may encounter a Neutral character, who will ask for independence. The two characters will then enter dialogue:
[NeuChar]: ("Now that every corner of the map is under control, can't you see how boring life is?") [NeuChar]: ("Why don't you bring down the whole system and start fighting back for independence?")
After this, the player will be given two dialogue options:
Option 1: [PlayerChar]: ("OK, let's bring back chaos!") Option 2: [PlayerChar]: ("No, I like the city as it is.")
The first option causes all the locations that the player's character owns to be colored white, and the player's character will join the Neutral faction. This also triggers another dialogue from the Neutral character:
[NeuChar]: ("I'm glad you've seen sense! But you'll find the whole world is against you now.")
The second option causes the locations that the player's character is the boss of to remain the way it is, as well as the player-character's faction. This triggers another dialogue bubble from the Neutral character:
[NeuChar]: ("I see now. So you really DON'T want to bring back peace!")
The entire map's locations will remain the color of the player's faction.
Attributes[]
Strength[]
If it is at a high level you can hit people across the screen and cause devastating amount of damage.
You can‘t pick up certain weapons (i,e hammer, ax, trident) if you’re not strong enough. The hammer item can only be lifted if your Strength attribute is at 100% or above.
Defense[]
Defines how much damage you can resist and you can reverse attacks.
Speed[]
Measures how fast you can go when you run. If you have 150+ speed it will make you very fast, but it might make it harder to hit your enemy correctly or to avoid accidentally crashing against something.
Transformations[]
In Super City, you can touch the portrait of your player to transform either to your superhuman form or transform back to civilian form if you are a superhuman currently. There are states of transformations, here are they:
Inactive: You will always stay in your civilian form. After being defeated by someone, you will turn into a superhuman. However, if you have recently lost your power, it might take more time to be superhuman.
Permanent: You will always be in your superhuman form, but you will become inactive once more when you are defeated, so, play wisely in this state. Having permanent state is rarer than having other states.
Uncontrollable: You can't control your state. You will automatically transform. It's harder to be civilian again after being defeated if having this transformation state.
Gradual: Normal transformation. You will gradually change your size and texture.
Bottom Up: You will change from bottom to up.
Top Down: You will change from top to down.
Instant: You will instantly transform.
If you are an inactive, and you turned into superhuman after being defeated by someone, you will choose to be any of 3 teams (Heroes, Villains, Neutral).
Controls[]
The D-Pad : Move your character according to the direction you tap.
A button : Attack
R button : Run
P button : Pick up/drop item
G button : Grapple
T button : Interact with certain items or taunt
S button : Superpower (when grabbing someone, special move)
